Abstract:
Civil State and Freedom in the Maghreb.
This book originated from two seminars organized by the Takamul Center for Interdisciplinary Studies and Research on subjects of “civil state” and “freedom”. These topics are both fundamental concepts in the contemporary Arab thought. Addidionally, their importance has increased over the last years especially after the Arab Spring. The studies and research carried out in this book provide an in-depth analysis of the themes “civil state” and “freedom” in the Maghreb, using a multidisciplinary approach.
